PTC RISE and Bacoor City join forces for youth disaster preparedness

The PTC RISE Program has officially signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the City Government of Bacoor to strengthen Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) education for the youth of Bacoor. The MOA signing took place on February 3, 2025, at the STRIKE Multipurpose Hall, Bacoor Government Center.
This partnership aims to enhance the knowledge, skills, and capabilities of young Bacooreños in disaster preparedness, equipping them to contribute to the city's safety and resilience against potential hazards and disasters.
The ceremony was attended by Bacoor City Mayor Strike B. Revilla, City Administrator Aimee Torrefranca-Neri, Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Office Department Head Richard Quion, and Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) Officer-in-Charge Angie Cariaso. Representing PTC were PTC Talent Acquisition Group Head Capt. Ronaldo Enrile, Program Manager Hector Brizuela, and Lead Program Officer Josh McCarver. In his message, Mayor Revilla expressed his gratitude to PTC and the PTC RISE Program for their commitment to supporting Bacoor’s DRR initiatives.
Meanwhile, Capt. Enrile highlighted the maritime industry's role in ensuring the safety and preparedness of Bacooreños. PTC extends its heartfelt appreciation to Mayor Revilla, Vice Mayor Rowena Bautista-Mendiola, and the Bacoor City Council for making this vital collaboration possible.
