FAA joins CAAP Summit 2025

First Aviation Academy (FAA) joined the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines’ Approved Training Organization Summit 2025 held last April 3 at the Casa Ibarra in Pasay City.
This summit, organized by CAAP Flight Standards Inspectorate Service (FSIS), gathered 126 representatives from 61 CAAP-certified Maintenance Training Organizations nationwide for collaborative discussions aimed at elevating aviation safety and training standards in the country. FAA COO, MGen. Restituto Padilla Jr. AFP (Ret.), represented the company in the summit.
CAAP has been prioritizing continuous improvement and robust partnerships with stakeholders to elevate safety across all aviation operations.
With a firm declaration of support, CAAP Director General LTGEN Raul L Del Rosario AFP (Ret) commenced the summit, stating the unparalleled and crucial role of training organizations in contributing to the impactful changes and significant improvement of the country’s aviation standards.
Under the strategic leadership of Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Vince Dizon, and with the active participation of the nation's leading aviation training organizations, the CAAP, through this summit, has marked a critical step towards meeting its responsibility to ensure safer skies and a more skilled aviation workforce for the Philippines.
