SEPTEMBER 30, 2024

The PTC RISE Program team successfully held the RISE Program for Safe Schools-Citizen Training Program (RPSS-CTP) on September 30, 2024, at the Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna.

Under the leadership of PTC Talent Acquisition Group Program Manager Hector Brizuela, along with Lead Program Officer Josh McCarver and Project Associate Crystal Lopez, the training focused on disaster preparedness for students from the Mapúa-PTC College of Maritime Education and Training and the Mapúa-Laguna Institute of Aviation. Participants learned how to maintain safety for themselves and their families in the face of potential hazards that could lead to disasters.

The team expressed heartfelt gratitude to the administration of Mapúa Malayan Colleges Laguna, particularly the Mapúa MCL Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement, and to former MMCL-CSCE Director Ms. Jocelyn Bellin, for their guidance and support in making this program possible.
