PTC is proud of its PTC GMP, Malcolm Serrano, an ETO onboard Sarah Oldendorff, for being recognized in the ITF Seafarers' Trust Photography Competition 2024. Malcolm's photo, "Embracing the Beauty of Our Ship from a Different Perspective," was awarded a Highly Commended recognition in the #LifeAtSea2024 competition.

"I took this photo using my drone while the ship was discharging in Go Gia, Vietnam. I was amazed to see things from a different altitude," said Malcolm. "It's a top view of the forecastle, with me lying on the ground. Now I see the beauty of our ship from a different perspective."

The ITF Seafarers' Trust Life at Sea photography competition, which began in 2020, has since brought the unique perspectives of seafarers to a wider audience through exhibitions and presentations around the world. Currently, previous winning photos from the Life at Sea project are on display at the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam, the venue for the biannual International Congress of Maritime Museums.
