PTC CEO Gerardo Borromeo speaks at the GCNP Sustainability Summit

The Global Compact Network Philippines (GCNP) held its sixth Sustainability Summit last October 23 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati. PTC CEO Gerardo Borromeo was among the esteemed speakers during the CEO Forum where he shared insight on our Group's focus on human capital development and the value of education in sustainability.
The theme of this year's Sustainability Summit was "Tracking SDG Impact: Global and Local Perspectives.” Joining him for the CEO Forum were Mr. Rick Danao, Chairman and Senior Partner of PwC Philippines; Ms. Chaye Cabal Revilla, CFO and Chief Sustainability Officer, Metro Pacific Investments Corp.; and Mr. Michael Coman, Chief Strategy Officer, International Care Ministries. The panel was moderated by Mr. Jos Ortega, CEO, Havas Ortega.
Representing the PTC Group in this year's Sustainability Summit were MGEN Padilla and Denise Alampay of SSRB.
The Global Compact Network Philippines (GCNP) is the local arm of the UN Global Compact - the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative, bringing together businesses worldwide to align their strategies and operations with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. The UNGC also plays a pivotal role in supporting the achievement of the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a comprehensive blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet by 2030.
