PTC RISE Program advances public-private collaboration in Iloilo barangays

The PTC RISE Program team participated in the successful “UnRISK: Unpacking Resilience-Inclusive and Innovative Strategies for Knowledge-Building capacity-building” seminar for barangay leaders held last November 11-15, 2024, in Boracay Island, Aklan.

Led by PTC Talent Acquisition Group Program Manager Hector Brizuela and Lead Program Officer Josh McCarver, the team engaged in productive discussions with over 180 barangay officials. The focus was on promoting private-sector collaboration and its potential to enhance and strengthen social services and support for barangays.

PTC extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Iloilo City Government, led by Mayor Jerry Treñas; the Liga ng mga Barangay Iloilo City Chapter, chaired by Hon. Maria Irene D. Ong; the Iloilo City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, led by Ms. Donna P. Magno; and the DILG Iloilo City for their invitation and support in making this program possible.

Together with Iloilo City, PTC reaffirms its commitment to activating and promoting public-private-people collaboration in barangays, working hand in hand to build resilient communities and resilient lives.
