PHILCAMSAT and PTC GMP Capt. Ruben Magallanes honored at the Crew Connect Global Awards

The PTC Group is proud to have been recognized at the prestigious Crew Connect Global Awards, held at Shangri-La The Fort BGC on November 14. This recognition comes at the conclusion of the three-day Crew Connect Global Conference, which gathered industry leaders and maritime professionals from around the world. The event provided a platform for sharing insights, fostering collaboration, and acknowledging outstanding contributions to the maritime industry.

PHILCAMSAT was honored with the Industry Partner Award which highlights PHILCAMSAT’s significant contributions to the advancement of maritime training and education. Their dedication to industry collaboration and innovation continues to positively impact maritime professionals by improving standards and driving progress within the sector. PHILCAMSAT’s unwavering commitment to excellence in marine training is an inspiration to all in the industry. The award was received by Capt. Pol Haboc, Head of PHILCAMSAT and The MAST.

Additionally, PTC Global Maritime Professional Captain Ruben Magallanes was named Seafarer of the Year. Captain Magallanes, who sails onboard MMA Offshore, was recognized for his exceptional work ethic, technical competence, and commitment to promoting safety and wellness on board, particularly in supporting the well-being of his fellow crew members. His dedication to both personal and professional growth sets a remarkable example of leadership and service within the maritime community. Representing Capt. Magallanes at the ceremony was Engr. Peter Lugue, PTC’s Vice President for Crewing Operations.
