PTC reaffirms commitment to environmental standards with ISO 14001:2015 Recertification

Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTC) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS) recertification audit conducted by TÜV Rheinland Philippines, Inc. on June 14. Representing PTC were Engr. Benjamin Reyes, Pollution Control Officer (PCO), and Mark Iven Poniente, Environmental Management Representative (EMR), along with representatives from various departments of PTCi. The TÜV Rheinland audit team was led by Mr. Lionell Aala, with the assistance of auditors Mr. Rolly Remitar and Ms. Zenaida Cruz. This comprehensive audit focused on PTC's provision of crew management services, reaffirming the company's adherence to international environmental standards.

The successful recertification highlights PTC's unwavering commitment to its Environmental Policy and the pursuit of sustainable operations. The audit recognized several commendable initiatives, particularly PTC's corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, which align with their environmental goals. This achievement underscores PTC's dedication to environmental stewardship and its proactive approach to ensuring that its operations not only meet but exceed global environmental management standards.
