PHILCAMSAT: Ensuring quality excellence in maritime training

PHILCAMSAT is proud to announce that it has successfully passed the surprise audit conducted by the MARINA Surveillance Audit Team last September 19. The audit is designed to ensure that the facilities of maritime training institutions consistently comply with the MARINA Memorandum Circular No. SC-2021-10 Revised Guidelines on Training and Assessment of Seafarers by Distance Learning and E-Learning, in accordance with the regulations of the STW Convention, 1978 (amended).
No findings were noted on the STCW training running that day, the Blended Course on Basic Training. The audit covered everything from the registration process and the delivery of the online training through MS Teams. The Center likewise succeeded in the Client Audit by BW Epic Kosan, represented by C/E Jaime Morales, Learning and Development Manager, conducted on the same day. |
