Northern Star and retailer partners level up at Polaris General Assembly and Awards

Seda Manila Bay was transformed into a hub of inspiration on May 21 as Northern Star hosted the 2023 Polaris Awards and 2024 General Assembly. The event brought together Northern Star’s convenience retail partners and industry leaders for a day filled with learning, motivation, and celebration. 
Following the rally, Mr. Francisco “Paco” Magsaysay, the visionary behind the premium ice cream brand Carmen’s Best, shared inspiring stories demonstrating practical strategies, resilience and innovation in meeting the challenges of launching an upmarket product. 
Mr. Paulo Tibig, a celebrated Filipino motivational speaker, then took the stage. Through his engaging activities, he encouraged everyone to become leaders in the industry by embodying the spirit of continuous improvement and elevating their businesses to new heights. The energized momentum of the afternoon session carried on into the evening as the event transitioned into the highly anticipated 2023 Polaris Awards. The ceremony started with a warm welcome of new convenience Retailer-Partners into the Northern Star’s network. This was followed by the highlight of the event — honoring and celebrating outstanding achievements of Northern Star’s top-performing convenience Retailer-Partners based on their performance in 2023. 
In the end, the Retailer-Partners acknowledged that they – no matter which brand they have on their sites — are part of the Northern Star team and that each other’s success is deeply intertwined. Everyone happily committed to the challenge of leveling up, elevating, escalating, and excelling to fulfill the common mandate of moving lives forward. |
