JULY 9, 2024

Northern Star and its MELA (Metro Manila, Laguna, Cavite, Non-BM) retailer partners convened for its first semi-annual Convenience Retail Engagement Meeting (CREM) at LOLA Café in S Maison, Pasay City on June 19, 2024.

Continuing the push to level up partnerships and business strategies, the session began with an insightful discussion on the transformative potential of Convenience Retailing by Mike Ortega, NStar Customer Experience Manager, and Strategic Communications Consultant. Noel Ang, Convenience Expansion & Growth Consultant, followed with an update on ongoing leasing activities that focus on the strategic utilization of space to integrate diverse businesses that will enhance the station’s appeal beyond fuel retailing.

The Convenience Retail Team then delivered a comprehensive sales update, highlighting the territory's performance year-to-date. The report also addressed key action items such as safety protocols, targets and recognized outstanding performance among retailers.

Abie Turingan, Relationship Manager, effectively wrapped up the meeting with an interactive activity that further cultivated a collaborative spirit and deepened interpersonal connections.

CREM serves as a platform to align goals, inspire continuous improvement, and elevate NStar’s convenience retailing operations to new heights.
