PTCitizenship volunteers in partnership with PTC’s Sea Mariners schools participated in this year's Brigada Eskwela program by the Department of Education (DepEd) last August 15 and 16 in Tanza National High School and Noveleta Junior High School, respectively.
A total of 46 PTCitizens from both events assisted the Sea Mariners students in lawn maintenance and painting the school facilities.
Here are some inspiring words from our PTCitizen volunteers:
“It was very tiring but rejuvenating. Truthfully, the experience was very inspiring and amazing. I feel proud to be part of this meaningful program and help keep the spirit of bayanihan alive!”
— Sarah Caranatan, General Accounting
"It was fun, fulfilling, and refreshing since our last participation in Brigada Eskwela was way back in 2019 and had to be halted due to the pandemic. I'm happy to be part of this activity once more, working with my PTC colleagues from different departments to help make this school become an even more conducive place for learning.
I'm so happy that we still have this Bayanihan spirit in PTC and I will surely be participating in this project again next year."
