PTC RISE Team successfully facilitated the RISE Bacoor City Basic First Aid Training for Safety Officers on June 1 at the 5th Floor Function Hall, Legislative and Disaster Resilience Building, Bacoor Government Center.
The participants were oriented and trained on the principles and mechanics of Basic First Aid, which can be helpful and useful in their responsibility as designated Safety Officers of the different departments, offices, and units of the City Government of Bacoor.
Bacoor Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (BDRRMO) OIC-Assistant Department Head Mr. Manolo Galvez, Jr., expressed his thanks to the PTC RISE Program, for introducing this activity to Bacoor City Safety Officers. The RISE team likewise extends its appreciation to BDRRMO headed by Mr. Richard Quion, Local Youth Development Office (LYDO) City of Bacoor, headed by Officer-in-Charge Ms. Angie Cariaso, Bacoor City Information Office (CIO) headed by Ms. Lysa Blancaflor, and to the RISE Program Champion in the City of Bacoor, Mayor Strike B. Revilla, for making the activity possible.
PTC RISE Program and SDI extend courtesy visit to Municipal Government of Minalin
The PTC RISE Program Team, together with Smart Development Institute (SDI) President Mr. Roberto Llames, made a courtesy visit to the Municipality of Minalin last May 26. Led by PTC TAG-PEP Program Manager Hector Brizuela, the PTC and SDI contingents met with Municipal Admin Edgardo Yambao, Mdrrmo Minalin Head Engr. Emi Isip, and C/E Raul Manlapaz to discuss target programs to be spearheaded in Minalin, which includes a Digital Enablement Program that seeks to improve internet connectivity in areas with little to no internet access.
Municipal Admin Yambao expressed his enthusiasm and thanks towards PTC and SDI for their commitment to improving the lives of Minaleños, in addition to the current commitments that were bestowed in Minalin, while Engr. Isip and C/E Manlapaz looks forward to fruitful and productive partnerships that await both parties.
