Malayan Colleges Laguna completes Project RISE Master Trainer Program

NOVEMBER 4, 2022

Malayan Colleges Laguna student leaders and faculty members have successfully completed the Project RISE Master Trainer Program (MTP) last October 18, 2022. The MTP, facilitated by Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation with Mr. Fred Dalumpines of Aboitiz Foundation, Inc., drew the participation of 150 onsite and 45 online trainees who learned about Disaster Preparedness and Resiliency.

As part of the MTP, a Master of Disaster (MOD) Board Game was facilitated by PTC Project RISE Lead Program Officer Mr. Josh P. McCarver for all onsite participants who learned about disaster preparedness and response while having fun.

The activity was made possible through the support of the MCL Center for Service-Learning and Community Engagement headed by Director Ms. Jocelyn T. Bellin. Malayan Colleges Laguna is now gearing up for the conduct of the Citizen Training Program (CTP).
