PTC's Sea Mariners team established its 6th ship at the Sto. Rosario National High (SRNHS) School last October 17. SRNHS is the first and only public secondary school in Pampanga offering the Maritime strand under the Technical-Vocational and Livelihood Track.

The TVL- Maritime strand was established in 2018 through the collaborative efforts of Deped Pampanga, Municipality of Minalin, Minalin Seafarer's Club, PTC's Capt. Ronald SJ Enrile and the SRNHS administration.

A total of 30 Sea Mariners from SRNHS attended the Orientation program conducted by PTC's implementing partner Assist Asia. The SRNHS Sea Mariners also got the chance to play the Master of Disaster (MOD) Board Game as part of the orientation program. The activity was made possible through the cooperation of SRNH's Mr. Raul Manlapaz, Principal Jayson Flores, PTA President Rosetti Pingul, and Mr. Kenneth Navarro, RN, adviser for the SRNHS Sea Mariners.

The 7th Sea Mariners ship meanwhile was established on October 18 as 25 junior and senior high students of Tanza National High School (TNHS) in Navotas City joined the program.

The pilot members of the TNHS ship attended the Sea Mariners orientation program and later learned about disaster preparedness through the Master of Disaster (MOD) Board game facilitated by PTC's implementing partner ASSIST Asia.

Making the initiative possible was the support of Mr. Oliver Sanchez, TNHS school principal, and Mr. Mark Anthony Decena, TNHS adviser.
