Sea Mariners from the Baliwag Maritime Academy (BMA) Ship completed their onboarding training which focused on topics covering the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) last February 9.
The day continued with the members playing the Master of Disaster (MOD) board game, followed by the election of BMA ship officers. Mr. Severino Bugarin, adult adviser, led the signing of the Charter Agreement.
Together with Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC)’s implementing partner Assist Asia, 24 Sea Mariners from BMA composed of three (3) 1st Class, ten (10) 2nd Class, five (5) 3rd Class and five (5) 4th Class, were provided with valuable learnings about the SDGs.
