PTC Group named Finalist for the Crew Connect Global Awards 2026

The PTC Group has been named a finalist for the Industry Partner Award at the Crew Connect Global Awards 2026, recognizing its innovative PTC Group Sustainable Maritime Talent Pipeline and its collaborative approach to developing the next generation of maritime professionals.

PTC’s Lifelong Maritime Talent Pipeline reimagines maritime talent development as a continuous journey—from early exposure to the industry and education, through training and career development, to global employment. The ecosystem brings together industry, educational institutions, government agencies, training organizations, local communities, and global shipping partners to create pathways into maritime careers.

The initiative brings together My Ship My World, the PTC Sea Mariners Program, and the Talent Acquisition Group (TAG) to guide young people from early maritime exposure and training to employment. Together, the programs have introduced maritime careers to more than 49,000 primary school students, engaged over 30,000 young people, and built a talent pool of more than 68,000 aspiring professionals. The Sea Mariners Program also pioneered a pathway for Senior High School graduates, as young as 18, to begin careers aboard international vessels—helping strengthen the future of the global maritime workforce.

The Industry Partner Award recognizes organizations demonstrating exceptional collaboration and support within the maritime industry. PTC’s nomination underscores how meaningful partnerships can help address the industry’s talent needs while creating sustainable opportunities for future maritime professionals.

The winners will be announced on October 21, 2026, during the Crew Connect Global Awards ceremony at the Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, as part of the Crew Connect Global Conference.
