Driving supply chain resilience: PTC Logistics at SCMAP

On September 10, PTC Logistics joined the SCMAP Conference at EDSA Shangri-La, where Andres Borromeo participated in a panel on “Pursuing Deeper Collaboration by Targeting Common Pain Points.”

Andres presented “Bridging the Last Mile Through Collaboration: Delivering Vaccine Integrity to Remote Communities,” sharing how PTC Logistics worked with University Research Co. (URC) and the Department of Health to address last-mile cold chain challenges in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs) through the eCombi solution.

The initiative was carried forward with the support of PTC Logistics President and CEO Ike Castillo, RC Reyes, Pearl Sidayon, Angel Dela Cruz, Rose David, Belle Basco, and Junjun Alarcon, who contributed to the team’s work with the DOH.

PTC Logistics was also represented at the conference by VP for Operations Jonathan Gealon, Gilbert Opong, and Rio Aldave.

More than a showcase of a logistics solution, the discussion highlighted how effective partnerships can translate supply chain capability into meaningful outcomes for communities that are hardest to reach. It also reinforced PTC Logistics’ role in developing practical, scalable solutions for complex distribution challenges.
