As part of Lifelinks International Resources, Inc.’s continued commitment to responsible global recruitment, Maricar E. Boteja, Business Development Officer, represented the organization at the Health Education and Migration Forum: Advancing Policy Reforms for Safe and Ethical Global Nurse Mobility held on April 16 at the Bayanihan Center.
The forum, organized by Unilab Education, Inc. in partnership with the Blas F. Ople Policy Center and Training Institute, convened key stakeholders from the Department of Migrant Workers, Commission on Higher Education, Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, and Commission on Filipinos Overseas, alongside leaders from the healthcare and recruitment sectors.
While the morning sessions established the need for globally aligned competencies—highlighting digital readiness, cultural intelligence, and adaptability—the discussions in the afternoon session provided critical insights for recruitment and deployment stakeholders.
