The PTC RISE Program team successfully concluded the two-day RISE Program for Safe Schools-Master Trainer Program (RPSS-MTP) for Midway Colleges on September 27 in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija. Under the leadership of PTC Talent Acquisition Group Lead Program Officer Josh McCarver and Project Associate Crystal Lopez, along with CORE Resilience Consultancy Inc. Training Specialists Jhun Servano and Jonamae Fabale, students, teachers, and staff from Midway Colleges learned how to become Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Facilitators, aiming to share their newfound knowledge from the program.

Participants demonstrated their skills by creating their own GO bags, which can be used during hazards or disasters. They also learned how to encourage their families and peers to pursue the preparedness of having a GO bag in their homes. The team expressed heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of Midway Colleges, led by President and Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sabino Czar Manglicmot, II, along with Academic Director Richard Oandasan, Admin Director Jeffey Boticario, and Office of Student Affairs Head Robie Mar Dayto, for their guidance and support in making this program possible.
