On December 6, 2024, First Maritime Place transformed into a gateway to the maritime world as PTC Sea Mariners hosted “Master the Seas: The Ultimate Ship Simulation Experience.” This exceptional event made possible with the support of the Philippine Center for Advanced Maritime Simulation and Training, Inc. (PHILCAMSAT), offered sea mariners an exciting ship simulation tour and hands-on experience that brought maritime car
Ms. Marah Ramos, PHILCAMSAT’s Business Development Officer for School Programs and Partnerships, introduced the sea mariners to work immersion opportunities designed to prepare them for future roles in the maritime industry. Adding to the wealth of knowledge, Sir Peter Lugue, Vice President for Crewing Operations at Philippine Transmarine Carriers, Inc. (PTCI), shared maritime career tips and guidelines. Sea mariners eagerly voiced their questions about the industry, receiving expert advice to guide their journey.
The event brought together participants from Baliwag Maritime Academy, Sto. Rosario National High School, Tunasan National High School, Ismael Mathay Sr. High School, and San Pedro Relocation Center National High School. Through this immersive experience, the sea mariners gained valuable insights and inspiration to chart their course toward a future in maritime professions.
