Keeping our coastal communities clean

PTCitizenship volunteers from the PTC Group Shipping Cluster rolled up their sleeves to do their part in keeping our oceans healthy by participating in a coastal cleanup last September 16 at Barangay Bucana in Nasugbu, Batangas.

The activity was conducted in support of International Coastal Cleanup Day, one of the world’s largest annual preservation and protection events and volunteer efforts for our ocean. The 20 volunteers were able to collect 40 sacks of marine plastic waste, keeping a total of 127 kg. of trash from the oceans.
