PTC RISE Program conducts MTP for PHINMA Education Laguna Network

The Philippine Transmarine Carriers (PTC) RISE Program team successfully conducted the RISE Program for Safe Schools Master Trainer Program (MTP) for the PHINMA Education Laguna Network last February 12 and 13, 2024, held at PHINMA Rizal College of Laguna. Over 45 employees, teachers, and students from PHINMA Education Laguna Network, composed of PHINMA-Rizal College of Laguna and PHINMA-Union College of Laguna, attended the RISE MTP. Participants learned about the importance of Disaster Risk Reduction from DRRM Certified Trainers and Volunteers from CORE Resilience Consultancy Inc., and why it should be a priority for everyone, for their well-being and safety before, during, and after natural or human-induced hazards or dangers that could lead to disasters. After the two-day RISE MTP, the participants were designated as RISE Master Trainers, and they pledged to share their learnings with their families and their school communities. The RISE Teams acknowledges the leadership of the PHINMA Education Laguna Network, led by their Chief Operating Officer Mr. Eduardo Y.
