On February 25, the PTC Group conducted a Fire and Earthquake Drill at First Maritime Place in Makati City as part of its continuing commitment to workplace safety and preparedness. The activity aimed to ensure that employees and building occupants are equipped with the knowledge and presence of mind to respond effectively in the event of emergencies.
The drill was led by the company’s Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Emergency Response Team (ERT), with representatives from the Bureau of Fire Protection present to observe and assess the procedures. From the earthquake simulation and orderly evacuation to the fire response protocols at the designated assembly area, participants demonstrated coordination and discipline throughout the exercise. Initiatives like this reinforce PTC’s culture of safety, preparedness, and shared responsibility in protecting both people and property.
